Introduction
My internship as a Business Analyst at Abhyaz offered me a comprehensive introduction to customer relationship management and data analysis. This role allowed me to work hands-on with key analytical tools such as Zoho Desk and Zoho Sheets, which are essential for managing customer data and resolving issues. The experience provided a practical understanding of the daily responsibilities involved in business analysis while sharpening my technical and interpersonal skills.
Daily Responsibilities
A typical day at Abhyaz began with logging into Zoho Desk and Zoho Sheets. My primary task involved reviewing customer profiles and service records to identify any cases that required attention. Zoho Sheets was crucial for analysing customer data and tracking follow-ups. When I found a customer needing assistance, I would consult the tracker sheet for the ticket number and search it in Zoho Desk. This allowed me to dive into the ticket history, gather relevant context, and develop an effective strategy for addressing the customer's concern.
Customer Engagement and Problem Solving
My core responsibility was directly interacting with customers to resolve their queries. After analysing the ticket history, I contacted the customer to fully understand their issue before proposing a solution. My approach focused on not just solving the immediate problem but also enhancing the overall customer experience. Following each interaction, I meticulously documented the conversation and any updates in both Zoho Desk and Zoho Sheets. Maintaining organized records ensured that I could easily track progress and provide data-driven insights for future reference.
