Introduction:
Myself Chandrika Talla. I joined this virtual internship at Abhyaz in June 2023. I have done 3 months duration of internship from June to September of this year. I have taken Cloud and DevOps Engineer Internship.
About Cloud and DevOps Engineer Internship:
I have learned tools like ODOO, RPA, AWS and Docker. I have come across such amazing tools where we can seamlessly do the work effectively.
ODOO:
ODOO is a platform where every business organization uses for fields like Accounting, CRM, Finance, Health, e-commerce etc., like these. The major advantage of using this is mostly helping all departments in a particular field will be able to see how much work has been done by each and everyone.
RPA:
RPA is a tool where every task is done by bots. It is nothing but doing every task without human intervention. The advantages of RPA are low cost, less human involvement, more productivity, more quality. By using this RPA we can automate the things.
Docker:
Docker is a containerization tool. we can easily deploy and scale up the applications. The major advantage of using Docker is reducing compatibility issues over all systems. The size of the Docker is very small. we can get the images from the Docker Hub or we can create one customized image in Docker Hub.
AWS:
AWS is one of the trending cloud provider right now in the market. Using AWS console or AWS CLI we can easily create, deploy the resources as per requirement. There are different types of subscriptions related to AWS like Free-Tier, Student subscription, Pay-as-you-go subscription, etc. There are resources like EC2, S3, Elastic bean stalk, SSM, Code commit, Billing, Dynamo DB, etc.
Project done at Abhyaz:
Deployed PHP web based application using AWS:
In this project, I have used tools like AWS, MySQL, PHP, File Zilla. Through the project I have learned how to launch an instance and in that instance how to deploy a PHP web-based application. By using FileZilla we can transfer the files from local machines to server. We have to connect to the FileZilla using Public IP address or private of the instance.
Conclusion:
Providing virtual-based internship to people has been an amazing thing. By utilizing this, many people have up-skilled their skills and get to know what the actual real-time work will be. Glad that I have gotten this opportunity.
