Experience as DevOps Intern at Abhyaz

Hello everyone! I'm Nazeer Basha K, and my journey as a DevOps intern at Abhyaz was nothing short of thrilling and nerve-wracking. Over three months, I had the privilege of exploring the exciting realm of DevOps, all from the comfort of my home. In this blog post, I want to share my experiences, challenges, and the invaluable knowledge I gained during my remote internship at Abhyaz.

My journey began with Task 1: Containerization with Docker. Docker, a game-changer in software development and deployment, was my first stop. I dived deep into understanding the fundamentals of Docker, its myriad benefits, and how it can streamline software development and deployment processes. From seasoned developers to beginners, Docker's power is undeniable. I learned how to harness it to create efficient, portable, and scalable applications, all while working remotely.

In Task 2, I delved into the dynamic realm of cloud computing. As remote work continues to gain prominence, cloud computing stands as the cornerstone of innovation and scalability. I had the privilege of exploring the offerings of three major cloud providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). During this exploration, we meticulously examined the distinct features, pricing structures, and unique strengths of each cloud provider, equipping interns and aspiring tech enthusiasts with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions regarding their choice of cloud service. Whether you're a startup aiming to expand your horizons or an established enterprise in search of steadfast reliability, our insights into these cloud giants were tailored to meet your needs.

Task 3 took me on an adventure into web hosting. We explored the process of hosting a WordPress website on an Apache server within Amazon Web Services (AWS). WordPress, a popular CMS, met the robust cloud infrastructure of AWS to ensure website reliability and scalability. Whether you're an experienced developer or new to web hosting, our step-by-step guide covered everything, from setting up your AWS environment to configuring Apache and installing WordPress.

Task 4 introduced me to Robotic Process Automation (RPA), a transformative force in the digital age. RPA is reshaping how businesses operate by automating mundane, time-consuming tasks, freeing up valuable human resources for strategic endeavors. This blog post illuminated the fundamentals of RPA, explored its use cases across industries, and highlighted the tangible benefits: increased productivity, reduced errors, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

My remote internship at Abhyaz was a transformative journey marked by growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences. It reinforced the power of teamwork and adaptability in achieving success, even when working remotely. As I take the next steps in my career, I'm excited about the endless possibilities in the world of DevOps.
