The selection method used by Abhyaz Company was not simply an interview process. It happened to me to demonstrate my skills by overviewing and grading the minor projects. This strategy of selection has given me the assurance that this company values skill.
On-boarding Process:
The provided on-boarding process was very helpful in blending myself into the Abhyaz team. Because of this, I was able to grasp Abhyaz's expectations and values, which made me feel engaged with the Abhyaz team.
Diverse Software Engineer Intern Projects:
My internship as a software engineer intern started as I kept on working on a few software projects. Using embedded systems and machine learning, I worked on an Internet of Things project. My mentors, Shruti Gupta and Tamizh Selvam, were helpful people who helped me with every task that I found difficult. And they appreciated my results and helped me with my pursuits.
Task and tool I had worked on:
In the last month of my internship, I've worked on the tools of IoT using embedded systems, which were useful in many different applications and helped me gain knowledge on the Internet of things that can be considered a growth in my skill set.
Coming to my second outcome, I worked on the machine learning project, which reflects the added countermeasures for color blindness for the video consumption of any color blinded perspective. To do this, I've used the Python language along with the OpenCV libraries available in the language.Conclusion:
My time as an intern at Abhyaz has been an integration of collaborative work and technical research. Because of this, my ability to work on projects and my interest in software engineering have increased. This journey as an intern at Abhyaz has been a career boost and has helped me gain insights into various fields of software engineering.
