Kicking Off My Data Career at Abhyaz!

I’m Rima from CRM Operations, I got my first hands on experience working on real data at Abhyaz, I had done a few courses about data analytics but that was just course material and really wanted to dig up on data and shift my career into data analytics.  The hiring process was smooth. We had to go through two process: portfolio submission and evaluation process. We received offer letters after the submission of the required details. 

While we joined we were divided into various teams to work on different projects and mentors were assigned. We were in a group of 3  and worked together in completing the projects with the guidance of our mentor. Our Mentor was very knowledgeable and shared insights and guided at every process of the internship. 

Within this tenure of my internship, I worked on two projects, one being data consolidation where we made use of multiple tools such as PowerBI, PowerQuery, MS Excel to merge the data and segregate the data and also created visualizations of the result we got on PowerBi. We had to deal with more than 50k data of different stakeholders and to confirm their active status by sending them emails through Zoho campaigns, we were successfully able to validate the TPO(Training and Placement officers) data of the institutions. 

In the second project we worked on data enrichment of interns who were at different stages of their internships or those who didn't join internships or left the internships in the middle completing their term. Our aim was to find out the reasons behind leaving, how beneficial the internship has been for them and so on. For this we created surveys and sent them campaigns to get responses and accordingly we were able to deduce the reasons and received feedback in making our programs better.  For this we relied on zoho campaigns, zoho surveys and zoho analytics and zoho recruit.

Surely this experience gained will help me in pursuing my career in data analytics. My understanding of analytics concepts such as data cleaning, data enrichment has really elevated my theoretical knowledge and also making use of Zoho tools such as Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Analytics, Zoho surveys, Zoho recruit, Zoho CRM has given me more exposure to how it works in a business area and also to apply critical thinking skills. This internship has also improved my presentation skills as well.
