Introduction:
On June 5, 2023, Abhyaz, the firm that trusted in my abilities, welcomed me as an intern software engineer. My time at Abhyaz has been nothing short of transformational over the course of three rich months. I have developed my talents and accumulated priceless experience through interesting projects, group learning, and the direction of outstanding mentors.
Selection Process:
Abhyaz's selection process went beyond the ordinary interview. It challenged me to showcase my abilities by completing a task alongside my major project. This approach demonstrated the company's commitment to recognizing potential and fostering growth.
On-boarding Process:
Abhyaz's systematic on-boarding process facilitated a seamless transition into the company’s culture. This orientation allowed me to quickly understand Abhyaz's values and expectations, ensuring that I was well-equipped to contribute effectively.
Diverse Software Engineer Intern Projects:
As I worked on numerous software projects, my job as a Software Engineer Intern really came to life. I worked on ERP, RPA, and Odoo. My mentor, Mr. Tamizh Suleiman, was a very helpful and knowledgeable individual who guided me through every assignment I found challenging. And He valued the effort I put into my endeavours.
Task and Tool I had worked on:
In the last three months, I have finished seven jobs in total. My first work was RPA, for which I made a discovery module. My second task involved creating documentation for the RPA tool for UiPath. The third job used a jupyterlab robot framework for data mining and involved web scraping. Following that, I focused entirely on odoo and produced two results for it: employees and an eCommerce website. and for my final two results, I used Microsoft Azure ERP and the Discovery module of the ERP application. I accomplished these tasks using RPA, Odoo, and ERP tools and submitted them as Lumi app h5p files.
Web scraping of Wikipedia refers to the process of extracting information from Wikipedia pages using automated scripts or tools. Wikipedia is a vast online encyclopedia with a wide range of articles on various topics, making it a valuable source of information for researchers, data analysts, and developers.
Conclusion:
My experience with this internship at Abhyaz has been a creative fusion of technical investigation and group projects. My skill set has grown and my enthusiasm for software engineering has been developed by the exceptional opportunity to take on different positions and become fully immersed in numerous projects.The direction of my career will surely be shaped by this chapter in my professional life, and I can't wait to use the lessons learned from this extraordinary experience in my future undertakings.
