Embarking on a three-month internship with Abhyaz by Matlab as a System Admin was a thrilling opportunity that promised a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of technology and business. My role encompassed a variety of responsibilities, from creating courses to managing work drives This journey was not only a technical adventure but also a valuable lesson in teamwork, time management, and adaptability.
The selection process is unique, as interns need to enroll in the evaluation course. Then they have to submit their allocated task. After submitting task peer to peer grading is very unique procedure where fellow interns grade each others work. This step helps to understand works of all department’s of the organization, enhancing one’s knowledge.
As an System Admin intern one of the primary tasks entrusted to me during the internship was the creation of courses. I have created course for Skillon, Abhyaz and CNCTrain. I also added learning materials, badges and skill task in the courses I created. As a System Admin, I was responsible for curating and adding relevant material to the courses. This involved staying updated on the latest industry trends and integrating them into the training modules. It was good experience and helped me a lot in enhancing my skills. There was reporting everyday in start of the day, where we need to which task we are working on today. Then by the end of the day we need to update how much task we have completed.

These task gave me information about the tolls I used. It also enhanced my skills in presenting and documenting my work. An integral part of my responsibilities was managing access to work drives for new employees. This required a meticulous approach to ensure that individuals had the right permissions and access levels. Through this process, I learned the significance of data security and the importance of granting access only to those who needed it. Throughout the internship, there was constant help and encouragement from my mentor Mr.Harsh Raj. He was very patience in process for teaching and guiding us through our task. There is a positive and comfortable work environment, which helps new interns to work with their complete potential. The working environment in Abhyaz is very good and encouraging.
