Introduction:

I joined Abhyaz as a software engineering intern. It was my internship, and I was thrilled when I received the offer letter from Abhyaz. My internship journey at Abhyaz was an incredible experience that allowed me to explore the exciting fields of Machine Learning (ML), web development, and knowledge sharing. I embarked on this journey with a thirst for knowledge and to gain some experience. During the course of my internship, I worked on many tasks, gaining valuable insights and learning important skills along the way.

Tasks:

1. Machine Learning:

One of the first challenges I faced was diving into the world of ML. I was assigned a task to prepare a PPT on any topic in machine learning. I chose object detection using TensorFlow. I was not fully prepared for it. It was quite challenging; I gathered data, learned about how neural networks work, and then prepared a presentation on it. It was a great experience to deep dive into such an amazing topic. I learned many new things along the way and gained many new skills too.

2. Web Development:

My journey into web development presented a different set of challenges and opportunities. My domain was web development, and I was confident that any task would be easy, but I was tasked with researching static site generators, which are powerful tools for creating websites without the need for server-side programming. This was something new to me. I spent hours learning about it, and my research led me to Jekyll, a popular static site generator that is known for its ease of use and adaptability. It was also a wonderful experience learning something new.

3. Knowledge Sharing:

My final task as an intern was to record a tutorial about Jekyll and how to use it. I personally knew from experience that it was quite difficult to get hands-on with it. Therefore, I personally recorded tutorials about the static site generator Jekyll, and in addition, I also recorded videos about the basics of Git and GitHub. I did so because I could pass down my knowledge to new interns and help them in any way possible

Mentors:

My mentors at Abhyaz were more than just supervisors. A special shout-out to Shaumya Tiwari Ma'am and Shruti Gupta Ma'am. When I first joined, I was very confused about everything—how the portal works or how to work in a team, as it was my first time working in such an organization. But the mentors were kind enough to help me in each step and always answered any doubts that I had. They guided me throughout and were always there to clear my doubts. Every task seemed easy with them on my side. I am very grateful to have worked under such talented mentors

Conclusion:

My internship experience at Abhyaz was a wonderful journey. I learned how to work in a team and gained many new skills along the way. I am grateful to have worked in such a great organization. Now, I am more confident in my skills, and that's all thanks to Abhyaz.
