Introduction
Greetings, everyone!
Experience at Abhyaz
Experience at Abhyaz
During my internship, I had the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of projects that allowed me to apply my skills in robotics simulation labs. These assignments were consistently challenging, often requiring quick turnarounds, which helped me develop adaptability and a strong work ethic.
Tasks
Alongside these projects, I also had the chance to familiarize myself with various tools such as Zoho Writer, Zoho Show, Zoho Sheet, Lumi, Moodle, GitHub, and Canva. These tools proved invaluable in creating, documenting, and reporting on each task. I refined my programming, academic writing, and system integration skills through these tasks, preparing me for a successful career in engineering.
Here are some of the key projects I worked on:
Robotics Course Creation: I was involved in creating robotics courses using M-robot software, specifically focusing on welding robots. This project involved outlining course names and descriptions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of welding robotics concepts and techniques. Through this project, I gained hands-on experience in designing educational materials and using M-robot software to simulate welding robots, enhancing my understanding of robotics programming and automation.
Open-source Project: Proteus, Arduino, and various sensors to simulate an obstacle-avoiding robot. This project allowed me to apply my knowledge of hardware integration and programming to create a virtual robot capable of detecting and maneuvering around obstacles. It provided valuable insights into the challenges of real-world robotic applications and strengthened my problem-solving and simulation skills.
Writing Technical and Use-Case Documents: Another significant aspect of my internship was writing technical and use-case documents for different software tools, including M-robot, CIMSIM, and ArtistoSim. These documents aimed to provide clear instructions, guidelines, and real-world application scenarios for users and developers. Through this task, I honed my technical writing skills, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and accuracy in conveying complex robotics concepts and functionalities.
In addition to my project responsibilities, I embraced the opportunity to lead the intern team for approximately two and a half months. This role presented me with the challenge of guiding and supporting new interns through their induction program. It demanded effective time management, collaboration with diverse teams and mentors, and providing guidance to incoming interns. It was a valuable experience that enhanced my communication, management, and leadership skills.
