Stepping into the big picture: Three-Month Internship Experience at Abhyaz

This is my three-month journey as a System Administrator intern on Abhyaz.This  has been an exhilarating and enlightening experience. From tackling real-world challenges to gaining invaluable insights into the world of IT infrastructure management, this internship has provided me with an exceptional platform to learn, grow, and contribute. In this blog, I'll walk you through the highlights, challenges, and key takeaways from my immersive internship as a System Administrator.

Stepping into Abhyaz, I embarked on an expedition that blended hands-on learning with creative problem-solving. The first couple of weeks were dedicated to familiarizing myself with the Zoho tools and the Moodle platform.As I gained confidence in my understanding of the tools, I started working on the real tasks.

At Abhyaz, the work culture is very adaptive and maintain work life balance. Utilizing the BigBlueButton meeting application, we collaborated virtually from 1 to 6 p.m. This platform proved to be a gateway to seamless teamwork, breaking down geographical barriers and enabling real-time interaction, idea exchange, and shared progress updates. The breakout room feature helps us to connect and work on a project inside the main room.This flexible and dynamic approach underscored the potential of technology in nurturing cross-functional collaboration.

My projects were all done on the Moodle platform and the Zoho suite and the outcomes are created using the lumi application,which will help the new interns to how to perform the tasks.

Creating and reusing courses using the Moodle platform is a journey of exploration and empowerment. From crafting engaging content to fostering active learning and collaboration, Moodle equips educators with the tools needed to deliver effective online courses. By embracing the concept of course reuse, you can not only save time, but also maintain a high standard of quality across your courses.

Utilizing Zoho CRM features, I added the type of internship to each employee profile accordingly.This task helped me to understand most of the functions of the Zoho CRM and how to use it effectively.

My design skills are used in this task.In this task I needed to create multiple presentations about Zoho Desk on Canva platform, I created seven presentations on canva ,in this task  I learned about how to use the Zoho desk ,how to make a voice over, how to use a markup tool and so on,this task requires more attention to details.This is one of my best tasks.

My three-month internship as a System Administrator has been an incredible voyage of learning, growth, and self-discovery. This experience has reaffirmed my passion for IT, equipped me with practical skills, and connected me with inspiring mentors. As I bid farewell to my internship, I eagerly anticipate the next chapter of my journey, armed with a newfound understanding of what it takes to navigate the dynamic world of system administration.

As my Abhyaz internship draws to a close, I stand at the cusp of innovation, armed with a dynamic blend of creativity, technology, virtual collaboration, and coding expertise.
