CNCTrain is a complete CNC training system covering all aspects of CNC set up & MDI programming and also offers 2D and 3D simulation for 2 and 3 axis machining codes. The powerful graphics and multifunctional programming capabilities of this software include Dual View Graphics, Tool Path Graphics and 3D Graphics. Further this CNCTRAIN is empowered with a strong kernel which supports multiple controls, importing, dual input mode, multiple output modes to CNC, and communication through RS232, LAN or Disk.

CNC Teach  is a module for beginners. It provides step-by-step instructions on how to build CNC code. It covers all the cycles and moves of the CNC control and has descriptive comments guiding the student through the machining process.

CNC Write

CNC Write is a powerful tool for creating your own CNC courseware. This allows the teacher to build a customized CNC Courseware for teaching a specific curriculum as required in the institute.

CNC Design

CNC Design is a powerful tool for designing the part drawing. CNC design is a powerful yet easy to use design package. Geometry can be accurately and quickly constructed or imported from other Cad packages with DXF or HPGL interface.

CNC CAM

With the help of CNC CAM, the G codes and M codes are automatically generated based on the end users requirement. This software allows different post processors like FANUC, SINUMERIK 828D, etc. The generated CNC codes from CNC design is downloaded into the CNC editor.

CNC MAC – Virtual Machine Simulation

CNCMac is used to simulate machine operations. The simulation can show collisions and near-misses between the part and the machine components such as axes slides, heads, turrets, spindles, tool changers, fixtures, cutting tools. The feature supports 2-axis turning and 3-axis milling.

CNC Teach consists of a group topic and then a lesson from the pull down menus:

  • In the simulation a description of the G and M code commands will be displayed.
  • Students can interact with the simulation using the tool bar to change views and control the speed of the simulation
  • CNCTRAIN has standard example for all the CNC controls. Example can be added to the system by the user using an integrated authoring system
  • Description of the G and M codes is automatically displayed
  • Switching between entering code directly into the editor and calling up the CNC write wizard. You can enter numerical data into the edit box or use the integrated calculator
  • Simulation of the chuck, billet and tooling are available in the turning simulation. Even features like parting the billet off
  • Generating the code from CNC design can be downloaded into the CNC editor ready for simulating
