Internships are essential for professional growth, and my three-month experience as a Finance Executive Intern at Abhyaz was transformative. I gained valuable hands-on experience in real-world financial operations, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

A key part of my internship was working with Zoho Books, a cloud-based accounting platform. Under my mentor's guidance, I learned how to create estimates, track transactions, generate reports, and maintain records. This experience enhanced my technical and analytical skills, laying a strong foundation for my career in finance.

Some of the key tools I worked with include:

Zoho Desk: I used Zoho Desk to manage customer support tickets, track their status, and ensure timely resolution. It taught me the importance of clear communication and teamwork.

CNCTrain: I used CNCTrain for tasks such as ticket follow-ups and estimate creation, helping to ensure smooth operations and efficient teamwork.

Proactive Ticket Follow-Up: I tracked the status of tickets, coordinated with teams for updates, and communicated with clients effectively. This helped streamline workflows and improve customer satisfaction, enhancing my organizational and problem-solving skills.

Estimate Creation: I created estimates by gathering client details, preparing comprehensive estimates, and ensuring timely submission. My attention to detail and communication skills helped align estimates with organizational guidelines, contributing to accurate financial planning.

During my internship, I also improved important soft skills like attention to detail, communication, patience, client interaction, and time management. Regular feedback from my mentor helped me refine my approach and deepen my understanding of financial processes. I also learned to use new tools, including Zoho tools, GitHub, Lumi, Canva, and OBS Studio, which enhanced my technical abilities.

Over these three months, I had the chance to develop my finance and accounting skills while contributing to the organization. This internship boosted my confidence and provided practical knowledge that will benefit my future career. It demonstrated the importance of hands-on experience, offering valuable lessons beyond what textbooks can teach.
