INTRODUCTION
My name is Krishnakanth G V, and I commenced my internship journey at Abhyaz from Mtab Technology Centre on October 28, 2024. As I ended my internship,I am eager to share my insights and reflect on my journey.
Getting Started
When I joined Abhyaz as a software engineer intern, I was both excited and nervous. From day one, I was introduced to an environment that was dynamic, collaborative, and filled with opportunities to learn. The onboarding process was smooth, with mentors guiding me through the company's workflows, tech stack, and expectations. I quickly became familiar with tools like Canva, Git, Zoho suite, and Agile methodologies, which were integral to our daily tasks.
Projects and Learning Curve
During my internship, I worked on multiple projects involving front-end and back-end development. I had the opportunity to work with Canva for UI/UX design, creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Utilizing Git repositories allowed me to manage and track code changes efficiently, ensuring smooth collaboration within the team. Working with Zoho Suites applications enabled me to understand enterprise-level workflow automation and integration, further enhancing my software development expertise.
One of the key takeaways from this phase was learning how to break down complex problems into manageable tasks. Regular reviews and feedback sessions helped me refine my style and understand best practices in software development.Challenges and Overcoming Them
Like any learning experience, my internship came with its fair share of challenges. Debugging complex issues, understanding legacy code, and meeting deadlines were some of the hurdles I faced. However, each challenge was an opportunity to grow. By seeking help, conducting thorough research, and staying persistent, I learned how to troubleshoot effectively and improve my problem-solving skills.
FINAL REFELCTIONS
My internship at Abhyaz was an enriching experience that provided me with the skills and confidence to take on future challenges in the tech industry. For anyone considering an internship, my advice would be to stay curious, ask questions, and embrace every learning opportunity. Internships are not just about coding; they are about growing as a professional and building a strong foundation for a successful career in software engineering.
I am grateful to the mentors and team at Abhyaz for their support and guidance throughout my journey. This experience has solidified my passion for software development, and I look forward to applying my learnings in future endeavors.
