During my time as a Data Analytics intern at Abhyas, I had the opportunity to enhance my analytical and technical skills significantly. I gained hands-on experience in key areas such as data collection, data analysis, data cleanup, and data visualisation. Working with various Zoho tools like Zoho Desk, Zoho Analytics, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Recruit helped me understand how to manage, process, and analyse data efficiently. Additionally, I learned how to use Zoho Presentation, Zoho Writer, and Zoho Worker, which provided me with valuable insights into productivity and documentation tools.
Apart from technical growth, this internship also helped me develop problem-solving skills and improve my ability to interpret and visualise data effectively. Writing a blog related to the data science and analytics field further enhanced my ability to communicate insights and knowledge to a broader audience.Mentorship and Support
One of the most valuable aspects of my internship was the mentorship and support I received from the team at Abhyas. The work environment was collaborative, and I was encouraged to ask questions, seek guidance, and actively participate in discussions. Throughout my internship, I was assigned multiple tasks that helped me apply my analytical skills in real-world scenarios:
Data Collection & Organization:
Collected data from various institutions, especially educational institutions, including details about departments, hardware sectors, and faculty members.
Compiled all the gathered data in an Excel file and performed data cleaning and analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Uploading & CRM Management:
Uploaded the cleaned and analysed data into the Zoho CRM platform.
Completed a contact mapping task to ensure proper data categorization and accessibility.
Ticket Cleanup in CRM:
Reviewed and cleaned all incomplete tickets from the CRM platform to ensure a well-organized system.
Lead Management & Assignment:
Removed unnecessary or closed leads from the CRM portal that were no longer relevant for future use.
Assigned important leads to relevant team members to ensure proper follow-up.
Content Contribution:
Wrote a blog related to data analytics, sharing insights and information about the field.
Zoho Analytics Presentation & Documentation:
Created a detailed presentation on Zoho Analytics, including how to design and build a dashboard.
Delivered this presentation to our first client, providing insights into dashboard creation and its functionalities.
