Introduction:
Embarking on a one-month data analyst internship at Abhyaz, I joined the dynamic CRM operations team. Our primary objective was to enhance customer relationship management through lead segregation. During this internship, I had the opportunity to delve into various tasks, such as campaign preparation, utilizing advanced options like contact scoring and response actions, and work with Zoho forms.
Improving CRM through Lead Segregation :
At Abhyaz, we recognized the critical role of lead segregation in optimizing customer relationship management. To begin the process, we meticulously compiled a comprehensive list of Abhyaz's diverse topics and products. Next, we focused on preparing campaigns for the Zoho Finishing School program, catering to students, faculties, heads of departments, training and placement officers, and principals. These campaigns aimed to engage stakeholders and establish meaningful connections.
Creating Effective Campaigns with Zoho Forms and Sheets:
To ensure the success of our campaigns, we turned to Zoho Forms for their versatility in capturing lead information. Crafting five unique forms, we tailored each to specific target audiences. By integrating these forms seamlessly with Zoho Sheets, we streamlined data management and analysis, enabling us to make informed decisions based on user interactions.
Leveraging Advanced Options for Enhanced Lead Generation:
To optimize our campaigns further, we harnessed the power of Zoho's advanced options. Contact scoring became our go-to method for segmenting users based on their interaction with our forms, helping us identify more engaged leads. Additionally, we researched response actions, which involved creating separate lists based on users' email opens, clicks, or specific link interactions. These approaches played a pivotal role in generating quality leads.
Contact Scoring is all about giving scores to your email recipients based on their profile and campaign responses. Open the Contacts tab and select Contact Scoring to navigate Campaign Activities in the Scoring set up tab. These are the scores which each of the campaign activity possess. You can edit the scores as per your need. Using these scores, you can infer the progress of your potential contacts, and watch them become customers.
Adapting to Challenges :
Despite meticulous planning, we faced an unforeseen obstacle when another team began sending email campaigns simultaneously. To overcome this hurdle, we swiftly adapted our strategy by creating segments and applying them to the ongoing campaigns. This flexibility allowed us to continue generating leads effectively and contribute to the overall success of the CRM operations.
