Cleaning Data for Clarity and Accuracy
One of my primary tasks involved Contact Deduplication in Zoho CRM. Duplicates in contact databases can cause confusion, affect communication strategies, and reduce CRM efficiency. I worked on identifying and eliminating redundant entries, ensuring the CRM system was clean, accurate, and ready for effective engagement. This task strengthened my understanding of data hygiene and its importance in CRM operations.
Working on the Leads Module
I also had the opportunity to work on the Leads Module, where I organized and optimized potential client information. From validating entries to structuring the data for better segmentation, my role here helped improve the overall lead management process. This showed me how properly managed leads directly influence business outcomes, such as improved conversion tracking and better communication strategies.
Recruit Data Cleanup: Bringing Structure to HR Data
Another critical project I contributed to was the Recruit Data Cleanup. This task involved auditing recruitment-related data to ensure accuracy, remove outdated or irrelevant entries, and organize candidate records for easier access. I learned how maintaining a clean recruitment database supports smoother HR operations and better hiring workflows.
Exploring the Zoho Ecosystem
Throughout my internship, I worked with a variety of Zoho tools including Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit, and Zoho Sheets. These tools allowed me to automate parts of the data cleaning process and understand how different departments rely on accurate data. Learning how to use these platforms effectively helped me grow technically while understanding real-world business applications.
