Initial Stages of MTC's Enterprise Transformation

In 2020, pandemic lockdown restrictions posed several challenges worldwide in every industry, especially in education. Covid 19 triggered the adoption of Digital Education in academic institutions. In the pandemic, MTC faced churn that led to many significant transformations. MTC is already equipped with the Digital Education Platform for remote training capabilities, continuing to empower learners in the field of AMT.

Remote Training Systems:

During COVID-19, we still had to operate the CoE's and deliver training. During this period, we realized traditional delivery models aren't possible and it could not engage our learners effectively. This resulted in evolving our training systems and processes and we moved from a trainer / instructor led training to a mentor guided training. The difference was the mentor guided learning approach encouraged learners to come prepared into the classroom, our virtual classrooms evolved into flipped classroom models with self paced learning, assignments with peer to peer grading and enabled for discussion built on social learning techniques. This allowed us to deliver the new model of training system that could be adopted for physical training, hybrid and fully online model - which could be deployed in industries as interactive hybrid workshops (with trainers being remote and addressing teams in various locations) and educational institutions in lab based courses.

But the lockdown restrictions continued, MTC realized the need of Digital Enterprise Transformation to face the challenges posed by the pandemic and in our case was the extensive churn in our team. Enterprise Transformation boosts the team's collaboration, improves business efficiency, reduces operating costs and increases revenue for the company. Now, MTC was ready for the technological change to build remote office systems, solving talent shortages and building organizational capabilities across various business functions to remain adaptable in the fast-paced business landscape.

Creating Virtual Office:

We had to address the churn, solve the remote workforce need and also address the talent shortage required for our growth. So, MTC created a virtual office in collaboration with their remote training system and some cloud infrastructure tools like ZOHO One, Moodle, GitHub and many software applications to cultivate a virtual office to continue their operations from a remote setup. Virtual office provided space for the team to work together even though they were far apart during the pandemic.

Expansion of Workforce:

As a small and bootstrapped business, with limited resources expanding payroll was a challenge. But MTC needs to diversify its workforce and introduce different job roles across various business functions. Different work forces need different skill sets. So, MTC started recruiting to build an organization but recruiting by traditional methods fell short to find the right talent. This was the turning point which led MTC to come up with Abhyaz Internships.

Abhyaz evolved from MTC as an alpha firm in 2021 into a Talent Service Provider, a new way to spot out talent and help them grow. It also helps people by training them to find jobs..!

Stay tuned to explore how Abhyaz Internship makes a huge impact on MTC's growth and Enterprise Transformation. Will catch up the final journey where MTC transformed to Abhyaz in our next story
