My Internship Experience at Abhyaz, as a Returnee

Embarking on an internship journey at Abhyaz as a Project Management Executive was not just about

gaining experience; it was about diving in to a realm of challenges, learning and growth. I was initially apprehensive

about how effectively I could manage virtual office and projects from a distance. However, any doubts were swiftly

dispelled as I witnessed the seamless transition to virtual collaboration at Abhyaz.

Embarking on the journey

I applied to this internship opportunity through an open source. I was excited to see this opportunity for a

returnee like me. I have been selected through a self pacing evaluation course. After completion of evaluation course

I entered the onboarding course, where we were introduced the virtual office and interactions, On completion of

onboarding course the next stage was Project Management Internship course.

One of the most valuable aspects of my internship was the hands on experience gained from the

first day itself. Whether it was creating project plan, facilitating team meetings, I was thrust in to the heart

of project execution. Through trial and error, I learned to navigate the complexities of project

management. I have participated in the initial project planning stage of GRS project as well as got

opportunity to involve with the live projects of Abhyaz. I was fortunate to work along with sales

department also for the customer engagement process. I was introduced to different project management

process like planning, execution, project board update and creation, stand-up/end meeting, scrum

updates etc. I was also introduced with different tools like GtHub, Zoho Platform, Big Bluebutton etc.

I was fortunate to work alongside experienced mentor like Mr. Chetan Huilgol. He has

generously shared his wisdom and knowledge in the project management methods. His style of

mentorship not only deepened my understanding of project management principles but also instilled in

me the importance of leadership, communication and adaptability. Being a Project management intern I

was fortunate to collaborate with all the mentors of Abhyaz and it was really an enriching experience.

Their unwavering support empowered me to tackle challenges head on and strive for excellence for every

endeavor. I was also fortunate to work with a lively and an enthusiastic Project Management team. All

members were cooperative and helpful in my learning & transformation process.

As my internship drew to a close, I couldn't help but reflect on the profound growth and

transformation I had experienced. From a wide-eyed intern with little practical experience to a confident

project management professional capable of leading teams and delivering results, the journey had been

nothing short of transformative. the skills knowledge, and relationships forged during my internship would

undoubtedly shape my future endeavors in profound ways.

My project management internship was more than just stepping tone in my career; it was a journey of

self-discovery, growth, and empowerment. Through hand-on experience, mentorship. and perseverance, I

gained invaluable insights into the complexities of project management and emerged as a stronger, more

capable professional. As I bid farewell to my internship and look ahead to the next chapter of my career, I

carry with me the lessons learned, the memories made, and a renewed sense of purpose in pursuing

excellence in Project Management.
