I'm Preethi Grace Manthena, a Mechatronics/Automation engineering intern at Abhyaz from MTAB Technology Centre Pvt. Ltd. from 9 October, 2023 to 9 November, 2023 . Join me on a journey through my internship experience where I'll share the projects I worked on and the experience I gained. Abhyaz has been a fantastic place for my engineering adventure.
I began my Abhyaz journey by applying for the internship. After a thorough evaluation, I was thrilled to be selected. The onboarding process introduced me to company policies, essential tools, and operations within my engineering department.
Learning and Collaboration
With the support of experienced mentors and fellow interns, I delved into the world of Mechatronics and automation. I thank Shruthi Guptha mam for guiding and helping me in each and everywhere I’ve stucked.
Tools and Techniques
As a Mechatronics/automation engineering intern, I had the opportunity to utilize industry-standard software and simulation tools, which were crucial for my projects. All my work was documented digitally for mentor and peer evaluation.
Project Details
Automation in Manufacturing: My primary project involved creating a dynamic H5P presentation that explained automation in manufacturing. This technology is revolutionising the way we approach production processes.
FluidSIM Pneumatics : In this project, I worked with the FluidSIM Pneumatics software tool to simulate and analyse pneumatic circuits. It provided a hands-on understanding of Pneumatic cylinder role in industries systems and their practical applications.

Challenges and Growth
Throughout my internship, I faced challenges such as optimising manufacturing processes, dealing with complex experiments, and understanding automation with pneumatic cylinders in industries and factories. These challenges pushed me to grow as an engineer. I learned to iterate designs, work with intricate simulations, and bounce back from setbacks.
Personal Growth
My internship wasn't just about engineering. It taught me valuable skills like adaptability, time management, problem-solving, and effective communication. These skills will undoubtedly be invaluable in my future engineering career. Collaboration with my colleagues, I’ve learned many things like management skills, presentation skills etc.
Conclusion
Abhyaz's internship program has been a transformative experience. Engaging with a diverse group of engineering minds broadened my horizons and expanded my professional network. As I move on to the next phase of my engineering journey, I feel well prepared to tackle new challenges and achieve engineering success.
