Data Analytics is the future and future is NOW! My Returnship experience at Abyaz.

Hello, Myself Sunitha GP. My returnship as a Data Analyst at Abhyaz has been the most rewarding and motivational experience. I am glad to have been associated with this organization which gave an opportunity to get connected with mentors and co-interns, all of whom supported my growth as a data analyst both directly and indirectly. 

A career break was necessary for me, but it was equally important for me to get back and work on my career. Abhyaz, helped me to restart my career. This internship program provides real-world experience to keep us updated with the current scenarios. Abhyaz is an excellent platform that offers virtual internships, which is nothing less than an offline office. Big Blue Button made this transition smooth. Even though it’s a remote internship, the environment here never made us feel the necessity of real office. I learned how a data analyst work and how they use data to extract insights as per requirements. I also learnt how to handle the workload and deliver quality task on time.

Our daily logins, marking our presence, connecting with mentors for guidance and working in a team what more can you ask for. We can share our work, get reviewed by our team, mentor or even with senior management with ease. This internship helped me in enhancing my skills and learn new skills that can be incorporated in the upcoming opportunities. Apart from technical skills, we had a chance to upskill our soft skills. Peer grading of submission is certainly an added advantage as we can improve our vocabulary and presenting skills and also we got an opportunity to showcase our knowledge and skill used to perform a particular task. We feel valued as our mentors give the freedom to work based on our analytical skills and guides us as and when required.

1.  Worked on process documentation.

2.  Worked on creating and modifying dashboard.

3.  Worked on Zoho suite-Zoho analytics and Zoho CRM.

These projects are my confidence boosters as they were new to me. My mentor Mr. Chetan Huilgol and co-interns helped me and guided me in this new path. My gratitude towards them would remain forever.

Finally, would like to conclude by thanking Abhyaz and its team for this wonderful opportunity. This internship has given a holistic growth to my career path. It has improved my presentation skills, boosted my confidence level, polished my soft skills and many more.
